During the last flood of the F. Timonchio (Vicenza, North east Italy), the flood retention basin of Caldogno has started into operation. The work, designed by BETA Studio after the flood of 2010 and built by the Veneto Region, allows the city of Vicenza to be safe from the hydraulic risk deriving from the floods of the F. Bacchiglione hydrographic system.
