The Consultancy Services for Determining Environmental and Social Flow Requirements in Lilongwe River Catchment – Lilongwe Water and Sanitation Project (LWSP) aim to increase coverage access to water supply and sanitation services to the residents of Lilongwe City (MW) through rehabilitation and expansion of water distribution systems, sanitation services, and facilities in the city. The specific objective of the study is to determine the environmental and social flow requirements for the Lilongwe river catchment till its confluence with the Linthipe River and to assess the water quality situation in the Lilongwe river up to Lilongwe Water Board (LWB) intake works in the Lilongwe City.
